Our story

Good fences make good neighbors? In that case, we’re breaking the mold. No fences here, just neighbors sharing a love of life, a dash of yoga sensibility, a common take on art and design, years in graphic art and textiles, and lots and lots of experience with kids’ clothing needs.

In our neighborhood is where it all began and now, thanks to some wonderfully talented people in our own community, that’s where it will stay. We are committed to producing as much as we can as closely as we can. We’ve already seen the results: fine craftsmanship, quicker and easier design turn-around, renewed energy in the businesses of our local partners, and the need for far less packaging and fuel to bring our goods to market.

It all begins with certified organic cotton, grown free of pesticides and herbicides in an earth-friendly, sustainable way. Milled to our specifications for a wonderfully thick and soft feel, the knits are cut and sewn into our unique designs right here in Pennsylvania. Our line is totally fair-trade - working with experienced and talented local artisans, we hand stitch original artwork appliqués onto each garment in a family-owned reinvigorated apparel factory.
